When I was a kid, I used to hear stories about my uncle who served in World War II. He brought back a few things from the war; items that told stories of where he had been and what he had seen. But over time, some of those things got lost. That always bothered me. I remember thinking, “These pieces of history shouldn’t just disappear.”

That’s where this all began.

For more than 25 years, I’ve been collecting military memorabilia; trying to save the kinds of items that too often get thrown out, forgotten, or sold without their stories. But along the way, I also learned how easy it is to get taken advantage of. I’ve been tricked by fake items. I’ve spent money on things that weren’t what they claimed to be. I know what that feels like and it’s not right.

That’s why we started Armilitary Heritage Company.
